Seminar Winter 2008

Requirements (same for Graduate and Undergraduate)
-For
4 credits (S/U or Letter Grade): 1. attend the seminar (you
cannot miss more than two days -- 7 of the 9 talks); 2. read the articles suggested
by the speaker; 3. write a short commentary (1 page max) of at
least five of the talks; 4. write a 10 page final paper on a topic
of your choice related to the seminar.
-For
2 credits (S/U or Letter Grade) :
1. attend the seminar (you cannot miss more than two days -- 7 of the 9 talks); 2.
read the one or two articles suggested by the speaker 3. write
a short commentary (1 page max) of at least 5 of the talks OR a
10 page final paper on a topic of your choice related to the seminar.
-For 1 credit (S/U option only) 1. attend the seminar (you cannot
miss more than two days -- 7 of the 9 talks). No papers required.
